I write for the Greater New York section of the Wall Street Journal. I cover philanthropy and write the Donor of the Day column. I seek opportunities to write about food and wine and my free time is devoted to the pursuit of a good meal. (Or cheese, spices, Champagne, fruit, etc.)

I joined the Journal in 2006 and previously wrote for the Journal’s Weekend Journal section, where I covered the wine industry and wrote about wine travel, food and chefs. Prior to joining the Journal, I worked for a few food magazines.

I have a bachelor's degree in government from Cornell University and a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
